Mietta at Melbourne Royal

Patagonia Mietta: by Purrumbete Brigantine out of Coolaroo Miss Moritz

Full sister Patagonia Bellarine was exported to the UK in 2001 and her prize winning son Patagonia Jardin has won ribbons at all shows he has attended. His most recent result was Reserve Champion Intermediate Male at Bathurst Royal tohis paddock mate Patagonia Celtic Triumph who won supreme champion at Bathurst. Jardin has been sold to Bev & John Scott of BJ LLamas & Alpacas in New Zealand.

Mietta has impeccable conformation & regularly cuts 4.8kg fleece weight.

Mietta is the donor mother of Patagonia Celtic Magmolia, the 2007 AAA National Intermediate Champion Female.

Sunline has only been shown twice as she does not enjoy the showing scene. Her results are:

  • 3rd 6-12 months Fawn female 2003 Castle Hill
  • Mature Champion Female 2007 Bathurst Royal Show.
  • 1st 60months plus Medium/Dark Fawn 2008 Sydney International Alpaca Fleece Show
  • Reserve Champion 60months plus 2008 Sydney International Alpaca Fleece Show

Sunline has been classed as a superior wool animal with an imposing frame by Jim Watts. Extremely dense with a high follicle density of 43.7mm2, extremely fine, large framed female of impeccable conformation.

  • 15.2 micron on her first fleece
  • Cut 5.6kg on her third fleece at 20.8 micron
  • 23.4 micron, 4.1 micron SD, 17.5% CV, CF 94.3% (Grid sample) 2008 Sydney International Fleece Show.

Sunline is the genetic mother of two ET stunning males crias, Celtic Rising Sun (Solid Medium Fawn with extremely small match stick sized bundles of lustrous crimp) and Celtic Eclipse (Solid White with extremely small match stick sized bundles of crimp with lustre and condition) and a female, Patagonia Celtic Sundial ET (Solid Medium Fawn).

Nicholi Park Princess by Greenflats Jacko out of Coolaroo Return Days

 

Princess is the grandmother of Patagonia Celtic Triumph and has produced a string of excellent progeny including the following ribbon winners Patagonia Celtic Rose (winner of six championship ribbons and the dam of Patagonia Celtic Triumph) and Patagonia Destiny, a blue ribbon winner at the Hawkesbury Spring Show in 2003. Princess is one of those special females that has maintained her micron at 21.3 micron on her eighth fleece.

Princess is our most prolific egg producer in our ET programme.
